Ian Kenselaar has been performing in jazz troupes for years. Hailing from Jersey City, New Jersey, Ian plays numerous instruments, but primarily the upright bass. They bring a jazz jam session to Cafe Corretto on a monthly basis every last Wednesday to foster a community of musicians and jazz enthusiasts in Chilltown.

​Nick Fierro is a comedian and writer from New Jersey. He got his start in the Jersey City comedy scene as a sketch writer and regular performer on WFMU’s “Prove it All Night with Pat Byrne.” Since then Nick has been featured in the Jersey City Comedy Festival, Milwaukee Comedy Festival​, B4UDie Fest, Salem Comedy & Spirits Festival, 5th Borough Comedy Festival, Red Eye Comedy Festival and Baltimore Comedy Festival.​

Nick has been a guest on the “New Jersey is the World” podcast with Chris Gethard, and Jersey City locals will recognize him from shows at White Eagle Hall, Deep Space Gallery and Pet Shop, or from faithfully tending bar at Lucky 7 Tavern.

Nick travels the country performing stand-up comedy and has entertained crowds everywhere from bars, back rooms, rooftops, and alleyways. He has cracked jokes everywhere from Rikers Island maximum security penitentiary to the fjords of Alaska, to Midwestern punk houses and now he’s ready for his first solo show at Jersey City‘s own Cafe Corretto!

He has been a resident of Jersey City since 2007 and lives here—digging graves, selling beers, and telling jokes—with his wife and their cat. You should follow him @schtickfierro.

Vanity Ray is the self proclaimed Broadway Barbie of New Jersey! She started her my career in Asbury Park, moving north to Jersey City where she's lived for over a year now. At the clubs, you can find her high kicking, hair whipping, or eating chicken fingers in the kitchen. Whatever the case, you’re sure to have a laugh (whether at her or with her) when Vanity Ray is in the building.

Vishnu Vaka is a standup comedian. Originally from India, he moved to US as a teenager, but kept his accent as he loves it. He got fat and became an American citizen in that order. He opens regularly for Russell Peters and Josh Blue performing all over America as well as headlines on his Self Driven World Tour. He has been seen on 'In Godfrey We Trust' as well as the movie 'Liquor Run,' streaming on Tubi and Amazon Prime. Vishnu wants everyone to be happy and laughing all the time and is doing his part by being the best damn comedian on the land. He is also an extremely good looking man. Vishnu believes people who take themselves seriously are nincompoops.

"Knwldg Presents" is a live music showcase of different hip hop and R&B artists from the Greater New Jersey area! It's important that more spaces in Jersey City consistently have hip hop and R&B shows and with this show Knwldg is doing his part to bring more live music to JC. October 25th's show will feature Knwldg himself, Andy Mac providing sounds and performances by Justin Love, Curly Gen, Catalina and Imkazual.
